Airnews offers about 240 days worth of binary retention, as well as 2000 days for text retention, all with a 7 day trial period for you to test out their service. They make some bold claims on their website, such as having the best customer service in the industry. Honestly however we did not find any reason to call customer service as we found that we were generally satisfied with their service. Their maximum speed per connection stands at 1.5megs however remember that is PER connection and this depends on the plan you choose. We chose the $9.95 plan and were very satisified with complete downloads/no incompletes on our end. The 9.95 plan gave us only two connections so we were a bit disappointed in that regard. However if we had wanted we could upgrade to the tier 2 plan which is 19.95/mo. and has 6 connections. For all of our reviews we rarely have more than a few connections and most will only choose 2 or thereabout so this is something to consider. You can check out their pricing plans here.
Their proactive privacy policies dictate they take that as seriously as all others and do not let unruly spam get to your connections or emails. Most of the big name providers also offer this, so Airnews does as well.
Completeness: as we said we did not have any issues with completeness. We found no incomplete files nor any issues with speed. We also found full compatibility with all of the major usenet search engines as well as a large list of servers to connect to.
